Michael Psaros is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of KPS Capital Partners, LP (www.kpsfund.com) and a member of its Investment Committee. KPS Capital Partners, LP is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity limited partnerships with over $6.0 billion of assets under management focused on making controlling equity investments in companies across a diverse range of manufacturing industries experiencing a period of transition or challenged by the need to effect immediate and significant change.
KPS portfolio companies have aggregate annual revenues of over $8.6 billion, operate 104 manufacturing facilities in 26 countries, and employ approximately 40,000 associates, directly and through joint ventures worldwide.
Mr. Psaros currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the following KPS portfolio companies: American & Efird Global (Chairman), Chassis Brakes International Group (Chairman), WWRD Holdings Limited (Chairman), Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. (former Chairman), Expera Specialty Solutions, LLC, Heritage Home Group, LLC, International Equipment Solutions, LLC, Motor Coach Industries International, Inc., United Copper Industries, Inc. and Waupaca Foundry, Inc. In addition, Mr. Psaros has previously served on the Board of Directors of 17 former KPS portfolio companies and served as Chairman of six.
Mr. Psaros received a BSBA from Georgetown University in 1989 and attended Sofia University in Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Psaros and his spouse created The Robin and Michael Psaros Endowed Chair in Business Administration at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where Mr. Psaros presently serves as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of Advisors. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Georgetown University Center for Financial Markets and Policy.
Mr. Psaros is a frequent speaker on turnarounds and manufacturing, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Buyouts, Private Equity International, M&A Magazine, CNBC and numerous other business and financial publications.
Mr. Psaros is a member of the Church of Our Savior in Rye, New York and All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton, West Virginia.

HABA is a not-for-profit organization established in 1982 to promote the professional and educational interests of Hellenic Americans, Hellenes and Phihellenes in the banking and financial services industries. Its current active membership consists of approximately 250 professionals representing dozens of institutions across the financial services spectrum.
